colin'S TESTIMONY

I really like the song Grace by Laura Story. It reminds me of how much I am loved by the Father even tho I am not worthy of it.

I was in Australia when I was invited to join the Private Uni comm. I remember meeting an OYP staff at NOX and expressed my interest in joining a community when I enter university. I was part of my Holy Family Church Youth Community for the last 7 years and being one of the leaders, I often found myself advising the younger members of the community when they joined a community. Many had fears of being judged or not accepted or awkward, and I remember always listening to their concerns and allowing them to see the importance of community.

Little did I know that I will be using my own advice when I wanted to join the community. I was excited to join the community. However leading up to the first session, I felt the same doubts on whether I would be accepted and all those things. Yet my fear very quickly swept away as everyone in the community was very warm, welcoming and friendly. I immediately felt how much desire and love each of them had for the Lord, and I felt that I was where the Lord wanted me to be.

Since joining the community in March, I am very blessed to be surrounded by fellow brothers and sisters who desire the Lord in every aspect of their life. I pray that we continue to grow closer to God as a community and remember how precious, priceless and greatly loved we are.

I think the verse would be Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them” I feel this best describes us as a community for we are always there supporting each other and never leaving a person to deal with their issues on their own.
